This is the last party for a multi-millionaire pal of Virgin tycoon Richard Branson after he died of a massive stroke aged just 63.

Croatian national Juroslav Buljubasic – known as Buljo – was seen here holidaying off the Sardinian coast where this video was filmed shortly before he collapsed.

He died in hospital in Sassari a day later on 8th June.

Businessman Buljo had been one of the first to snap up a ticket on pal Branson’s Virgin Galactic space tourism flight in 2008.

But typically, he joked about how he had not paid multi-billionaire Branson’s full USD 200,000 (GBP 158,000) asking price.

He joked at the time: “I hope it will be a spectacular view. The price was not USD 200,000, but he gave us some discount.”

Video footage of Buljo shot just before his death and sent to many of his friends shows him relaxing on his luxury vintage yacht Seagul II.

In the carefree footage, Buljo begins dancing to music in his chair before leaping up and frolicking footloose and barefoot on the yacht’s wooden deck.

Then in a chillingly prophetic end to the footage, he drops down in mock exhaustion on a sofa waving goodbye.

Buljo had hosted everyone from prime ministers and tycoons to rock royalty like U2’s Bono on his yacht Seagull II.

Friends of the businessman now say a song he co-wrote about his planned space flight was like a chilling prophecy of his death.

The song – ‘I’m Flying To Space’ – (https://youtu.be/9n8_AtNCLGs ) features a lyric where he describes himself with his feet in the sea on an island listening to seagulls.

Then it goes on to say he does not even need a rocket to reach the stars, with some saying he foretold his own death.

Another line says he went into space using “no rocket, but imagination”

Close friend and former Derby County footballer Aljosa Asanovic said: “It is all surreal. I can’t believe he predicted it all.”

Hundreds of his friends arrived for a tribute service and later a funeral at Buljo’s hometown of Split, Croatia, on 13th June.

In a baffling coincidence, Richard Brason’s yacht arrived in Split on the same day.

The canny operator Buljo rose from humble beginnings to become one of Europe’s wealthiest businessmen making millions from shipping, tourism and property.

Now Buljo’s space song is to live on after him.

Before his death, it was entered in the Split Festival and will be performed live on TV on 2nd July.

Its singer Djordji Peruzovic, 83, explained: “We’d planned to do the English version of the song and to present it to Richard Branson, but now it has all changed. We’ll see with his family.”
