A stand-up comic is to divorce after just weeks of marriage after revelations that his Ukrainian wife was reportedly a sex worker.
Comedian Slava Komissarenko, 38, wed 26-year-old Yulia Shashkova after he fled Vladimir Putin’s Russia.
Now he has revealed how the joke’s on him after finding out on social media that his bride was a webcam sex worker and also allegedly a prostitute, according to local media.
He told social media followers he broke up the double act after discovering the truth while they were on their honeymoon.
Both Slava and Yulia have already deleted all their wedding photos as well as pics showing them together on social media.
Russian and Ukrainian media have reported that during recent stand-up shows, Slava has looked lost and upset.

Slava recently told his 669,000 Instagram followers: “You probably saw the news that I got married, and a lot of other things in this news.
“Everything about this situation is terrible; it is humiliating to talk about this situation, but to remain silent about it is probably even more humiliating.
“Therefore, I will try to briefly talk about everything.”
He went on: “No, I didn’t know anything about it, and when I found out and asked, she still lied to me.
“Yes, I believe that a person’s past can be anything, but you should openly tell your partner about it, and not hide it or deny it until the moment when it all comes to light.
“Yes, it’s not easy to talk about this, it’s scary and generally seems impossible, but it’s even worse when your husband finds out about it from the Internet in the middle of your honeymoon.
“I don’t feel angry or offended and am not seeking revenge. I’m just very sad that it all turned out this way.”
And Yuklia took to Telegram on Friday, 6th October, to confess her side of the story, saying: “Many years ago I worked as a webcam model.
“This lasted for several weeks and until today, this episode has practically been erased from my memory because the condemnation of such actions somehow forces you to leave them in the most secret place and forget.
“Yes, unfortunately, I did not have the proper sexual and as such, education and environment that could warn against such an activity.
“But I have long passed that age of youthful infantilism when I wanted to be frank in front of the camera.
“I cultivated the best qualities in myself and lived the life of an ordinary woman who wanted happiness, a dog, and made plans for the future.
“And all my secret desires today were to visit Antarctica and travel around America by car.
“But what happened happened. And that means it had to happen. I have forgiven myself for this mistake and want to put an end to this whole story.”
